Bitters were traditionally used to help prime our digestive systems prior to eating. Think of it as sending a message ahead of time that "Hey, food is incoming! Get ready to handle it!" Another way to think about it is like warming up your car in winter before you start driving it. Most of our meals today lack bitter elements to send that signal to our body, and this is where a bottle of digestive bitters can come in handy! I keep mine on the kitchen counter so that I can remember to take some while I'm cooking my meal. Then when I sit down to eat, my system already knows that food is on its way.

Suggested use: 10-15 drops in a little bit of water, 10-15 minutes before your meal. You can also take the same amount at any point later on if you are having indigestion or bloating after a meal. And of course these are fun to play around with in recipes as cocktail bitters too!

The "Get the Trio!" option is three 1 ounce bottles - 1 each of Celadon Limon, Dandy Sunshine, & Grapefruit Chai.

Celadon Limon: artichoke leaf, yellow dock root, and lemon.

Dandy Sunshine: dandelion root, ginger root, and orange peel.

Grapefruit Chai: grapefruit, ginger root, cinnamon chips, allspice, cardamom, black peppercorns, and cloves.

All of our bitters come in 1 ounce dropper bottles and were extracted in organic alcohol and distilled water. Please reuse or recycle your bottles!
